Ginika Okoroafor LLB, BL
GINIKA BINYELUM OKOROAFOR gained admission to study Law at the Abia State University in 2006. She graduated from the Abia State University in 2011 and attended the Nigerian Law School in 2012, and was called to the Nigerian Bar in 2013, between 2013 and 2014; she did her National Youth Service Program at the Law Firm of Babs Adejuwon & co (a corporate commercial and litigation firm) in Lagos, and thereafter, joined the Law firm of P.C OBI & Co (a full-service law firm, with particular focus on Oil & Gas law, Admiralty Law, Corporate & Commercial law, Real Estate, Alternative Dispute Resolution Company secretarial services etc).
She is an experienced Legal service professional, with a demonstrated history of working in the Nigerian Legal Services industry in Nigeria, she is highly skilled in litigation, legal research, commercial law and alternative dispute resolution. She is a finance and investment enthusiast, she has also recently developed a huge interest in the financial services sector and has taken courses in financial modeling, valuation, Macro-Economics, business planning and strategy, management consulting, social impact investing, innovative finance and fundraising.
Ms. Okoroafor is a member of the Nigerian Bar Association. She has written articles for professional journals including: An appraisal of the role of the International Committee of the Red Cross in Armed Conflicts etc. She has received several awards. She actively volunteers in active community service, including but not limited to being an active member of the National Association of Catholic Lawyers of Nigeria (an umbrella body of all Nigerian Lawyers of the Catholic faith), at the Lagos State Chapter, and the parish level, where she was Secretary and now Treasurer/Financial Secretary, as a member and executive officer she has helped organize and participated in Annual and quarterly legal clinics for Parishioners of her local church, she has also consistently participated as a non-medical volunteer at the annual Doctors On-Air Medical Mission which is a one-day Annual health camp jointly organized by Doctors On-Air, PathCare Laboratories and Megaletrics Limited. It is a corporate social responsibility (CSR) project of the above-mentioned organizations, aimed at providing the less privileged with comprehensive medical care.She is smart, knowledgeable, dedicated, hardworking and result-oriented.
